Steamed Manila Clams


  • 3 lbs Manila Clams, cleaned
  • 1 bottle of dry white wine
  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped


  1. Pour dry white wine in stock pot over high heat.
  2. Add butter and garlic and bring mixture to a boil.
  3. Add the rinsed Manila clams. Cover and simmer for 4 minutes.
  4. Serve with crusty bread.
