Did you Know? The Alaskan king crab is pot harvested in the North Pacific between Southeast Alaska and Russia. It is either processed aboard catcher-processor boats or is delivered live to shore-based processors. The crab is then cooked and frozen in liquid brine. Most of the king crab is then shipped to Seattle where sections are cut into single legs. Fall is peak fishing season for these delicacies in Alaska and the Bering Sea.
